All politics is local: Social processes always have a local dimension. This is why many citizens are particularly interested in shaping such processes where they live. They are regularly supported by local agencies that encourage voluntary work. As one of fifty towns labelled “Engagierte Stadt” in Germany, Königswinter also benefits from the activities of the local Forum Ehrenamt, stimulating voluntary engagement and establishing it as a central pillar of local life. Based in the same district, we support Forum Ehrenamt in planning processes and moderate dialogues in order to strengthen voluntary engagement at home.
Social engagement can be learned. Our trainings enable to actively participate in society and politics. They are designed to meet the needs of participants. Based on this tailor-made approach, our trainings aim at immediate applicability.
We particularly strengthen strategy and planning competences. We apply acitvating methods in order to consequently include reflections on concrete transfers to practice in our trainings. We develop trainings for civil society and politics.
