Malte is a freelancer at politglott with a focus on European affairs. Due to diverse lecturing activities on EU-matters he has gained in-depth political training experience. In 2016 he joined Bertelsmann Stiftung where he holds the position of an advisor to the CEO. Before that, he has been the associate of a German Member of Parliament. During his studies he did placements at the German Bundestag in Berlin, the Landtag of North Rhine-Westphalia in Düsseldorf and the European Parliament in Brussels and Strasbourg.
Malte studied political science, sociology, contemporary history and public law at Bonn University with a scholarship of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung. He graduated as Master of European Studies from the Center of European Integration Studies (ZEI) of Bonn University and holds a PhD in political science.
