Kirsten Sahm is a freelancer at politglott.
Kirsten Sahm studied French and German literature at the University of Bonn. After passing her Bachelor of Arts degree, she won a DAAD scholarship in Paris, where she studied Franco-German relations at the University of Paris, Sorbonne-Nouvelle (Paris III). She subsequently studied at the University of Cologne and finished her Master of Arts degree in French and Ger-man literature in December 2014.
During her studies, she worked as an assistant at the Center for European Integration Studies (ZEI) of Bonn University, at the Institut français des relations internationals (Ifri) in Paris and the Federal Agency for Civic education (bpb). Owing to her work as a tutor at Cologne University, she broadened her teaching experiences in Franco-German relations as well as in French and German literature. She currently works as a research assistant for the Central Agency for Con-tinuing Vocational Education and training in the Skilled Crafts in Düsseldorf.
